The pads are made from foam, clad with fake leather. Each is attached with velcro, so that it becomes removable and adjustable. When I wear my soft under-helmet, I go without the ear pieces.

The mic tip is mounted on a boom and swivel from a disused, broken computer headset.

The visor is bolted to a T-shaped strip of styrene that goes inside a channel. This allows the visor to be moved up and down.

This is my prototype of an ESB snowspeeder pilot/Luke/Rieekan gauntlet comm pad, on top a gauntlet. It does not yet have the five buttons in the front. The color is also wrong. The grey should be the same color as the gauntlet, and the black grille should be red.

I scratch built this by hand, completely from aluminum. There is no putty or plastic in this saber. Red button is Roman's Empire's latest. Real bicycle valve adapter and amethyst. Anodized aluminum "covertec" knob from saberbelt.com TPM version with angled "cubes" with holes in them. Some minor inaccuracies here and there, mostly because of what tubes were available. Because it is made from aluminum tubes, it is hollow and very light. I had planned on adding some kind of light, but lost interest in such toys. I had wanted to blacken the black parts with Aluminum Black, but it is practically impossble to get hold of over here.
